The Action Bulletproof Recce Vest is a heavy-duty overt vest with full MOLLE webbing across the front and sides. Attach magazine pouches, holsters, radios, handcuffs and torches exactly where you need them – the Recce Vest turns your body armour into a complete load-carrying system.

It is used by tactical units, patrol officers, farm security, anti-hijacking teams and private security companies who need protection and quick access to their equipment. It is manufactured in our own South African factory, with 100% tested & certified ballistic panels.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Level II and Level IIIA?

Level II protection is rated to stop 9mm and .357 Magnum handgun rounds. Level IIIA is a step up and is rated to stop 9mm, .357 Magnum and .44 Magnum rounds. Neither level is designed to stop rifle rounds – for rifle threats you need hard armour plates such as our Level III++ plates.

What can I attach to the Recce Vest?

Any MOLLE-compatible pouch – double 9mm or AR-15 magazine pouches, radio, handcuff, pepper spray, torch and cellphone pouches, and holsters.

Front & Back or Full Wrap – which should I choose?

Front & Back panels protect the chest and back. Full Wrap panels extend around the sides of the torso for additional side protection, which is recommended for armed response and high-risk work.
